People look to search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo to find products, services, and local businesses. If your website isn’t optimized for the keywords your potential clients are searching for, they WILL go somewhere else.
SEO is not just about optimizing your website once and being done with it. SEO is a constant, ongoing process of tracking, monitoring and making adjustments. Keywords and keyword phrases that people are using to find your business are constantly changing. Frequent monitoring of how and where people are finding your website is incredibly important to help maintain or increase your position within the search results.
What SEO will NOT do, is give you a front page listing overnight, and any business who claims to be able to do this is “too good to be true,” and likely a scam. SEO takes time and patience, but the effort is worth the reward in the long run.
